with the phillies in the world series it brings to mind the phillies i remember from the days at 710 lexington...the fightin' phils and the phillies collapse in 1964...though only five,you have to remember my brother phil had baseball magazines that i read for years...so i became familiar with them and,along with the cardinals ,they became my favorite natl. league team...
richie allen,later dick allen, became my favorite phillie....even had a rawlings autographed model glove that we found in a diner after swimming at ritters lake one saturday...
