"Legs" Larry Smith came out before the band and did a little dance with his ukelele for a couple of minutes. The crowd had to wonder what was going on. Then the real show began with the accoustic Smile & Easy Now. Layla was the shows finale following an extended version of Let It Rain and his introduction of his band. Then he came back for an encore with Badge & Little Queenie to end the show. Needless to say, it was quite surprising for the crowd when Peter Townshend joined EC on Willie & the Hand Jive and Get Ready. Double the excitement when Pete returned to the stage with Keith Moon to join the band for the encores.

true story...
daddy was coming home with my uncle ervin in the car(then 14 or so)...along the way he got a speeding ticket...when home he then proceeded to tell mother what happened...well,mother wasn't havin' any of this...she then lit into him for twenty to thirty minutes....both of them defending their driving styles and history...daddy unfortunately had an accident, and now a ticket, he had to defend...facts that mother jumped on like a lion on an antelope.....her last comment being..."and i've never been in an accident,either!"...
daddy paused...and after some deliberation he said...
"well...maybe...but how many of them have you caused?
ervin had to run outside on the porch to keep my mother from seeing him...
he was laughing so hard
